The Xbox 360 Elite really is a media hub. The Xbox 360 Arcade is RRP at £149.99, which is £50 cheaper than the Xbox 360 Elite. The meaning is in the name ‘arcade’. The Xbox 360 Arcade is focussed mainly on gaming and not on other media like the Xbox 360 Elite. The Xbox 360 Arcade has a massive 120GB hard drive. Even though the focus is not on multimedia in the Xbox 360 Arcade, it can connect to Xbox LIVE, the official website and connection centre for Xbox. Xbox LIVE enables the gamer to create an avatar and share gaming interests and chat with other gamers online. It also enables Xbox LIVE users to connect multiplayer games to other gamers across the world, by using the power of the internet. The Xbox 360 Arcade also comes with a number of customisation options including an extra 60GB hard drive which would take the total hard drive space to 180 GB. A headset is also available to add to the Xbox 360 Arcade package which is essential if you want to use Xbox LIVE to chat to other gamers over the internet.
